Decision and Rate Order

As of May 1st, 2022, the Delivery Charges on your bill have been updated. The Delivery Charges represent the cost of getting power from generators to homes and ensuring electricity is available when you need it. They include costs from the transmission company, as well as costs from Espanola Regional Hydro (ERH).
The ERH portion of these charges are set by ERH and approved by the OEB to cover the cost of running the electricity distribution system (poles, wires, substations, transformers) in the area. This also includes the services ERH offers, monthly billing, a local customer service team, vegetation management, and 24/7 emergency services.
